The challenge was to create nudges that our audience cannot miss, with no additional taps or disturbances added to the user journey!

Nudge for: Buying a Premium plan
Scenario A: When a new or the next episode is starting up to play. If the user doesn't do anything, the video plays automatically in about 5 seconds.
Scenario B: When the user has paused an ongoing show / movie. After about 10 seconds, a pop-up nudge like the one above is shown. The user can choose to click on continue watching and the video would resume, unless...

Nudge to get 4K quality video
For new content coming in 4K quality, a new plan was thought of as a Premium subscription plan. For the same, a nudge would come up when a user is watching any content which is available in 4K.
This filter would be overlayed on the currently being played content. This was inspired from the thought of instagram filters, or any other video or photo editing tool.
Nudge comes in after 10-15 mins of playtime. This becomes a persuasion factor where the audience is already engrossed in the content and we propose a quality upgrade which they will rarely reject.
